SMB Homes has ten male and female apartment units. These apartment units have been selected for their location and uniqueness. They are all located in Rochester, MN so that we can provide the highest levels of community integration and independence. Future apartment locations will be selected for their locations and ability to work with clients' specific needs. This apartment model was developed with our Independent Living Services (ILS) Program for consumers who have developed the necessary skills to transition from a more stuctured setting to an independent-like setting, but are still not able to live safely on their own.

Each resident has a private bedroom with a common community area for social interaction. Most of our residents require from 1-4 hours of ILS supervision per day which makes this model a much more cost-effective option than adult foster care.

Other amenities include:

• Fully furnished common areas and kitchen/furnished bedrooms available
• All utilities, cable, wireless internet included in rent
• Transportation provided as needed
• Comprehensive screening of all applicants
• Remote technology
